It has been a very busy week in first grade!
On Wednesday, we had a guest speaker from Second Chance come to our classroom and tell us about their organization and how it helps animals who don't have a "forever home." We met one of the pups that has been rescued and the kiddos loved getting to meet Louie the dog! Please consider sending in a donation for our pet supplies drive!

On Thursday, we had a visit from Flash the Timberwolf and a PTA representative talking to us about the 1st annual BEU circus! Please check your child's Friday Folder for lots of information regarding this event. Thank you to the parents who have donated to our classroom basket! We have some really cool things to put in the basket so far!
Friday was our field trip to The Runge in Jefferson City! We had lots of fun walking the trails and learning about a variety of animals that live in Missouri! Here are a few pictures from our fun learning day!
